Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb bottle sparks airport terror alert

The Telegraph is reporting that a bottle of Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb aftershave shaped like a hand grenade triggered a full-scale security alert at Edinburgh Airport. Jimmy Ho, the passenger who’s bag caused the alert, was surrounded by police after his bottle of Spicebomb aftershave was mistaken for a hand grenade. After airport security bosses took away his suspicious aftershave for rigorous tests the police repeatedly asked him if the bottle had any harmful or dangerous substances in it as they waited for the results to come back. Ho was finally released after being held up for a heart-stopping 45 minutes. Read the entire story here.

Spicebomb is available at Bloomingdales.

  1. I agree with Callum. It’s one thing for a fashion company to invite controversy (and press) by deliberately designing a cologne bottle to look like a grenade but how do you not know that it probably not the best idea to pack that in your luggage. Bring some Obsession or Old fucking Spice. Dumb ass.

  2. The stupidity of this Ho is beyond belief…. I mean how out of touch with reality is this man?? To take something resembling a deadly weapon on to a plane in this terrorist fearing times can only be described as idiotic at best!

Ho should be arrested for being such a muppet!
