Coco Gauff takes her successes to the next level with a signature shoe, the unisex Coco CG1. Like her previous New Balance collaborations, the Coco CG1 leans into old-school athletic style. Inspired by ‘90s nostalgia and basketball kicks, the CG1 has a FitWeave Lite mid-top upper decorated with bold color blocking. A FuelCell midsole delivers lateral propulsion, while a NDurance rubber outsole delivers the traction needed for all-court play. The shoe includes hidden design details like her signature on the tongue, a basketball on the left heel and a track spike on the right heel – representing Coco’s parents collegiate sports. Finally, the right toe includes a quote from her dad Corey which says “You can change the world with your racket” and the left toe includes the coordinates of the park where she grew up playing tennis. Available August 26 in two colorways, Pompey and DigiCoco.
