Inis Meáin’s New Autumn Collection Leans Into Islands Knitting Heritage

Inis Meáin founder Tarlach de Blácam turned the isolated of the pandemic into inspiration. With only the sea, shoreline and sky for company, the Autumn/Winter 2021 reflects the colors and textures of the Aran isle’s landscape. The blues and greys of the sea and sky are captured in tonal ombré knits, while a series of Donegal, beairtíní (little bundles), and cable knit sweaters showcase heritage stitches.
