For 2021 Bell & Ross is “rethinking its GMT instruments” with a focus on its core business and first passion, aviation. According to the watchmaker, the redesigned BR 03-93 GMT is “more modern, more functional, more readable.” Its black sunray dial offers enhanced visibility with large white photoluminescent numbers and markers, alongside an updated GMT hand with a large red triangle. The watches GMT function – developed in the 1950s for pilots flying long haul routes – provides the time in three different locations around the world. For the first time, the 43mm square case features a bi-directional bezel. Made with black and red anodized aluminum etched with a 24-hour scale, the rings color scheme echos the look of cockpit flight instruments – Bell & Ross’s original inspiration.
