NikeCourt used data-informed design and an innovate cushioning system to create its latest hardcourt tennis shoe. The React Vapor NXT is the first tennis shoe to use Nike React technology. Placed near the arch, the responsive foam makes it easier for players to get closer to the ground, while the herringbone outsole uses a data-informed design to provide optimal grip without impacting players ability to slide. Years of athlete data was also used to integrate durable rubber and plastic components in high-wear areas. A stiffer frame on the lateral side increases the shoes overall stability during the kind of dynamic side-to-side movement required for the modern all-court game.
