Watch Porn: Shinola Upgrades Flagship Runwell Watch With New Station Agent Automatic

Shinola just upgraded its flagship Runwell Automatic wristwatch with a new sub-second dial. This evolution was inspired by the Station Agents that tended to American railways at the height of travel by train. Responsible for the comings and goings of millions, the agents knew the value of every single second. The Station Agent Runwell Automatic is Shinola’s tribute to those timekeepers.

The 45mm polished stainless steel case features a pumpkin crown and doubled-domed sapphire crystal. Turn the watch over and the sapphire exhibition window gives a clear view of the Swiss automatic movement and its rotor adorned with the Shinola bolt. Powered by motion, the movement drives the hours, minutes, seconds and calendar functions, while producing a 38-hour power reserve. Inside the case, the vellum-textured white enamel dial features Super-LumiNova coated numerals and hands, a calendar at 3 o’clock, and a sub-second dial at 6 o’clock.
