Polo Releases Sustainable US Open Uniforms

Ralph Lauren started designing the official tournament uniforms for all on-court US Open staff in 2005. This years Polo US Open Tennis Collection is the first to use recycled buttons, thread and poly-fiber – but it wont be the last. The collection is the latest step in the companies ongoing commitment to sustainability and recent pledge to recycle 170 million plastic bottles and eliminate all virgin poly-fiber by 2025. Designed with innovative moisture-wicking properties and produced with yarn spun from recycled plastic bottles, the linesman and ball boy uniforms are built to perform even in the heat. The official uniforms are part of a larger collection of colorful off-court styles inspired by the 1990s Polo Sport line.

Shop the US Open Tennis Collection now in Ralph Lauren stores and ralphlauren.com. The collection will also be available on site at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center for the duration of the tournament.
