The Ed Et Al shoe company was founded last year by Edwin Neo and Edwin Koh in Singapore. Ed Et Al is dedicated to delivering a quality product for a fair price. The shoes are notable for their classic style and modern attitude. The company has three lines; ready-to-wear, custom and bespoke.
The ready-to-wear shoes are produced with full grain leather in Vietnam. Many of the shoes include heel counters, toe boxes and insoles that are made of leather. The custom line gives clients the opportunity to choose the colors and finishes for the particular shoe they are purchasing. Choose the upper, lining, soles, finish to create a shoe tailored to your taste starting at approximately $474.00 and up, depending on the materials chosen. Ed Et Al’s bespoke service starts at $1,500 SGD (approximately $1,900) plus the price of the lasts and a shoe tree. This is a true bespoke service. The customer has a last created to their measurements by Springline in Northampton, UK. These shoes are hand-made with European leathers and could take up to 5 months to complete.
It would be hard to find this level of service for a comparable price, even after you calculate the shipping costs this is still a great deal. Scroll down to see Ed Et Al’s Spring 2012 Collection.
