Richard Mille’s first collaboration with Ferrari produced a minimalist concept watch just 1.75 millimeters thick. For their second collaboration, Ferrari’s official timekeeper is doing what it does best, maximalism. The RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari has a classic Mille silhouette, a curved tonneau style case made from lightweight materials – along with a skeleton dial, and a specialized openwork movement. Created in partnership with Audemars Piguet Le Locle, the manual-winding calibre is made with 514 meticulously crafted components. Showcasing exceptional expertise, the movement combines hours, minutes, split-seconds chronograph, 30-minute totaliser, and power-reserve, torque and function indicators.
The RM 43-01 is available in two versions, a brushed titanium and Carbon TPT model with red and gold accents ($1,300,000.00), and a rugged all Carbon TPT design with yellow accents ($1,535,000.00). Each is limited to 75 pieces.
