HAVEN and Asics are teaming up to launch an exclusive version of the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 lifestyle runner. The Vancouver-based retailer redesigned the uppers with a split black/silver color palette inspired by the ‘brutalist architecture of the Pacific Northwest’ and the ‘interplay of light and shadow’ on city streets. Layered mesh, leather, and carbon fiber textures give the shoes visual depth, while reflective hi-vis details reveal additional dimensions in low-light conditions. Engineered for comfort, the sneaker features a two-layer EVA foam midsole, GEL technology inserts, and Asic’s TRUSSTICTM support unit integrated into the midsole under the foot arch, providing additional stability to the middle of the shoe to prevent it from twisting. The HAVEN / Asics Gel-Nimbus 10.1 is part of a larger co-branded capsule that features apparel manufactured in Canada by HAVEN.
