Watch Porn: Omega’s New Speedmaster Pilot Is Read For Take-Off

Omega went back to the start to create the latest iteration of the Speedmaster Pilot. The 40.85 mm watch takes its inspiration from the very first Speedmaster released in 1957. Known for its easy-to-read layout, robust construction and reliable performance, the original model became a firm favorite among US Air Force pilots at the time. This updated design features several pilot-friendly anti-reflective surfaces, including the brushed stainless steel case and matte aluminum bezel ring. It maintains a connection to the Speedmaster’s heritage with a ‘Dot Over Ninety’ and ‘Diagonal to Seventy’ mark on the tachymeter scale. The grained matte-black finish on the cockpit-inspired dial offers a sharp contrast to the twin subdials with opaline centers and brushed bevels. At 3 o’clock, the 60-minute and 12-hour recorder was designed to look like a cockpit ‘burn rate’ indicator. It includes a triangular matte-orange hand and white numerals. At 9 o’clock, a small seconds display was designed to look like a target/sight indicator, featuring a matte-yellow hand and artificial horizon in blue. The hour/minute hands are PVD coated matte black with blocks of white Super-LumiNova (green emission). While the central chronograph hand has a varnished orange airplane tip. It’s powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900 and can be worn on a matching steel bracelet or a grey NATO strap that’s included.
