Omega’s latest Seamaster celebrates the America’s Cup, the world’s most famous sailing regatta and oldest continuous competition in international sport. The 46.75 mm Seamaster Regatta was designed to meet the specific challenges of high-speed boat racing. Built from grade 5 titanium, the watch tools include a moonphase indicator, a chronograph, a sailing logbook, temperature gauge, accelerometer, 3 alarms, and a regatta race function. The greyish dial has an LCD display with black markings to show multiple digital readings, as well as a Diver 300M-inspired hour, minute, and central second hand – which can be cleared from the display when in backlit mode to increase the legibility of the digital readouts. To help sailors navigate through the functions, the Regatta has four pushers, one in red and three in blue, all cast in rubber for ease of use at sea. The sandblasted crown is laser-engraved with the Omega logo and operated with push and turn actions. In addition to its digital and analogue readings, the Regatta can provide a sailor with audio cues. As a finishing touch, the stainless steel caseback is embossed with a wave pattern surrounding the distinctive 37th America’s Cup logo.
