IWC outfitted two pivotal characters in the upcoming film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom with prop dive watches that glow red or blue. These prototypes inspired the latest addition to the Swiss watchmaker’s Aquatimer collection. The Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month features an imposing 49-mm Ceratanium case, black dial and black rubber strap. The dials, hands and inner rotating bezels are illuminated with red or blue SuperLumiNova. Both versions are powered by IWC’s 89802 caliber with a 68-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire crystal back, this movement also drives a perpetual calendar with a digital date and month display, as well as a chronograph function. Limited to 25 pieces each.
