Maharishi Goes Low With Latest Fracap Jungle Boot Collaboration

For its latest collaboration with Italian shoemaker Fracap, Maharishi is going low. The new Jungle Boot Low features a vegetable-dyed Italian leather and suede upper with custom olive or hi-vis orange nylon panels on the sidewalls of the shoe. Jungle boots were essential to U.S. Army troops fighting in the hot, wet, and humid environments of South East Asia during the Vietnam War. Inspired by the rugged yet lightweight originals, this modified low silhouette sits atop a Vibram Gum-Lite Commando sole that references an archival sole pattern produced from 1965–1968. Each pair of shoes is constructed in the original Fracap factory in Northern Italy and debossed with Maharishi branding across the tongue and footbed.
