While every Bell & Ross watch displays time even in the dark, the BR-X5 Green Lum goes further. To this day, luminescence has been applied to watch hands, numerals, indices and dials. On this new version of the BR-X5, it is the 41mm case that glows in the dark. The multi-component case alternates black DLC coated titanium with LM3D, a photo-luminescent composite material made from quartz fibers and specially developed for Bell & Ross. This multi-layer assembly emits an intense green glow reminiscent of runway landing strip lights. In the dark, green emission Super-LumiNova outlines the matte black dial’s indications: hours, minutes, seconds, date and power reserve. Green lume also highlights key components of the Kenissi-designed Calibre BR-CAL.323 automatic movement, which has a power reserve of 70 hours. Available for pre-order in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
