Breitling just updated its Avenger pilot watch collection, redesign with a focus on water-resistant materials and sleek aviation detailing. The new range comes in three formats. A 42 mm automatic, a 44 mm chronograph now powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, and a 44 mm automatic GMT. All pieces come with a choice of a ‘military leather’ strap with a folding pin buckle or a three-row stainless-steel bracelet with an adjustable folding clasp. Each watch has corrosion-resistant constructed, easy-grip functionality and 300 m water-resistance.
The lineups standout design is the Avenger Night Mission chronograph, available with a vibrant yellow or carbon black dial. It has a case constructed entirely of scratch-resistant ceramic, while the case-back, crown, pushers and buckle are crafted in solid titanium – providing the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. On the dial, lume filled numerals made of carbon fiber provide superior legibility.
