Filson + Freeman’s New Made In Seattle Capsule

Scott and Brittany Freeman have been crafting quality clothing in Seattle since 2011, when they began making raincoats in their apartment. Their commitment to local manufacturing, timeless design, and first-rate materials has earned Freeman Seattle a devoted following.

Seattle neighbors Filson and Freeman teamed up on a 10-piece collection inspired by a shared passion for American sportswear and workwear. Combining Filson’s heritage fabrics with Freeman’s modern silhouettes, the capsule includes a waxed cotton raincoat, an overshirt cut from 14-wale cotton corduroy, flannel shirts, all-purpose pants, graphic tees and baseball caps. Freeman made the Raincoat ($495.00) and elastic waist Studio Pants ($195.00) in Seattle with Filson’s signature oil finish Cover Cloth, a water-resistant waxed cotton light enough for year-round wear. The raincoat is lined with Filson’s iconic Alaskan Guide flannel, a brushed-cotton fabric ‘trusted by bush pilots and outdoorsmen for nearly three decades.’ Freeman also used the dense Alaskan Guide flannel to make the Weathervane Shirt ($225.00), one in navy and a second in the same camel & black check pattern used to line the raincoat.
