Adidas Unveils New Wimbledon Kit Inspired By London Tailors

Felix Auger Aliassime

Adidas just launched the 2023 London Tennis Collection, inspired by the bespoke tailoring and traditional craftsmanship of London’s Savile Row. The collection blends classic finishes and techniques with sustainably produced, high-performance fabrics in a Wimbledon-approved palette of white with lemon and lime accents. Both the AeroReady FreeLift Pro Polo ($85.00) and AeroReady Pro Seamless T-Shirt ($80.00) include abstracted heraldic motifs woven into moisture-absorbing fabric. The AeroReady 2 in 1 Short ($80.00) is cut form seersucker, a summer fabric favored by tailors. While the high-gloss, satin-weave AeroReady Pro Tennis Short features front and rear seams and side pleats. All of the fabrics include at least 60% recycled content and select styles were produced using ‘increased pattern efficiency technology,’ a tailoring technique that aims to minimize fabric waste.
