TAG Heuer just unveiled two smartwatches trimmed in gold. The TAG Heuer Connected 45 mm Bright Black Edition and Connected 42 mm Golden Bright Edition feature an exclusive new watch face called TONOS, which comes with ten different colors designed to compliment the golden indexes and complications.
Encased in a black DLC sandblasted grade 2 titanium case, the 45 mm Bright Black Edition ($2,750.00) sports golden lacquer details on the steel crown – surrounded by rubber to enhance grip – and pushers. Its ceramic bezel is also adorned with golden lacquer and PVD, further elevating the watch’s overall appearance.
TAG breaks new ground with the introduction of the 42 mm Golden Bright Edition ($2,300.00), marking the first time the watchmaker has included a ‘gold’ PVD watch case in the Connected range. Coated with rose gold colored PVD, the steel case is fitted to a full leather strap with a black face and rich red lining. This model balances the appeal of the classic gold wristwatch with the functionality of a smartwatch.
