Zenith is expanding the DEFY Skyline Skeleton collection with a new grey and gold Boutique Edition. Inspired by the interplay of light and architecture across modern cityscapes, the design takes on a tonal palette of grey and silver with gold highlights, while seamlessly integrating the skeleton dial with an openwork version of the El Primero 3620 SK movement. The angular 41mm stainless steel case is topped by a faceted bezel with twelve sides positioned as extensions to the hour markers on the open dial. The dial itself takes on the form of a four-point star surround by a dark chapter ring studded with gold-plated hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova – matching the gold-plated hour and minute hands at the center. A constantly running 1/10th of a second counter at 6 o’clock makes steady jumps in fixed increments, completing one revolution every 10 seconds. This innovative feature is unique to the new generation of the El Primero automatic high-frequency calibre. A screw-down crown emblazoned with a star ensures water-resistance to 100 meters/10 ATM. Each watch is delivered with and interchangeable steel bracelet and a black rubber strap.
