18 East’s first summer drop includes two exclusive styles from Parisian shoemaker Jacques Solovière. The first look is a customized version of the Rasmus Lug ($448.00). An elevated take on traditional hiking boots, the upper is whole cut from a single piece of undyed Italian calf suede and topped with D-ring lace loops cast from aged brass. The second style is a custom version of the Fleurus derby cut from hairy Italian chocolate suede with a contrasting glossy leather tongue, topped by melon colored laces. Both styles are double welted with rugged natural rubber lug soles, using Goodyear construction so the shoes can be resoled.
