Omega is expanding the Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer collection with three new watches: two stainless steel options, and a striking titanium edition with a dial made entirely by laser ablation. All three models feature a 43-mm case and the collection’s signature world map display – viewed from above the North Pole – at the center of the dial. Circling the topographic map is a 24-hour indication divided into night and day sections. A two tiered list of global destinations circles the outer edge the dial. Singularly, London appears in red to highlight Greenwich Mean Time, or Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). Although impossible to see with the naked eye, the dial and the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal are domed to mimic the curvature of the Earth. Omega’s CoAxial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938 powers the Worldtimer and assures performance at depth, with a water-resistance of 15 bar (150 m/500 ft). Each stainless steel model has a sun-brushed PVD dial in green, encircled by a green ceramic bezel. Gold hands with white SuperLumiNova inserts add shine to the dial. One model has a matching stainless-steel bracelet ($10,400.00), another has an integrated green rubber strap ($10,200.00). The lightweight, corrosion resistant titanium model ($11,800.00) has a grey and black dial produced by laser ablation, the word London is the only transferred element. To complement the matte dial, Omega opted for a black ceramic bezel, and blackened hands and indexes filled with white SuperLumiNova which emits a blue glow in the dark. Completing the look is an integrated black rubber strap with grey stitching.
