TAG Heuer just unveiled the first-ever Aquaracer Profession 200 models with solid gold cases and bezels. Available in 18-karat 3N yellow gold or 18-karat 5N rose gold, these are also the first Aquaracer’s powered by the new manufacture Calibre TH31-00. This chronometer certified calibre delivers 80 hours of power – the highest ever to feature in an Aquaracer powered by a mechanical movement. Co-developed with high-end Swiss movement manufacture AMT, the 30-jewel movement’s bridges are decorated with a traditional Côtes de Genève finish and the oscillating weight/rotor has a new design echoing TAG Heuer’s shield logo.
Like all TAG Heuer Aquaracer models, the all gold Pro 200 showcases six signature features: a unidirectional rotating bezel, a sapphire crystal, luminous markings, a screw-down crown, a double safety clasp and water resistance to at least 200 meters. The 40-mm yellow gold case has an intense blue sunray brushed dial, while the 40-mm rose gold case has a slightly fumé sunray brushed black dial. Both watches are fitted to heavy-duty rubber straps with black DLC titanium buckles, the same black DLC coating used on the screw-down crowns.
