Breitling just updated the Top Time Classic Cars collection with a more powerful movement and a brand new model. Along with watches dedicated to the Chevy Corvette, Ford Mustang and Shelby Cobra, the Classic Cars lineup now includes a chronograph inspired by Ford’s original T-bird. The Top Time B01 Ford Thunderbird features the turquoise T-bird logo at the center of a white dial with a speed-measuring tachymeter scale and three ‘squircle’ (not quite square, not quite round) sub-dials shaped like vintage dashboard gauges. As well as a perforated leather racing strap, the 42mm stainless steel case can be paired with a stainless steel mesh bracelet. All four Classic Car watches feature the colors and emblems of their 1950s and 1960s sports car counterparts, and now come with the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. Visible through the sapphire-crystal case back, this certified movement provides a 70-hour power reserve. To house the caliber, the Top Time case has been enhanced and now provides an increased water resistance of 100 m / 328 ft.
