Gitman Vintage Adds New Textures & Techniques To SS23 Lineup

Gitman Vintage is bringing back its warm-weather staples for Spring/Summer 2023, from faithfully recreated archival prints full of color to overdyed seersucker and summer-ready oxfords. Along with these popular styles, the American shirtmaker incorporated fresh textures, intricate weaving and complex yarn dyeing techniques into the collection. The standouts include a trio of vibrant cotton dobby fabrics inspired by the coastal hues of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. Produced by a small hand-weaving mill in India, the shirts cut from these fabrics are only available in limited quantities due to the rigorous, time-consuming weaving process. The entire collection was cut and sewn in Gitman’s Tennessee factory.
