Watch Porn: Omega’s Latest Speedmaster Is Fine-Tuned For Precision

Omega’s new Speedmaster Super Racing chronograph is fine-tuned for precision thanks to the one-of-a-kind Spirate™ System. This mechanism includes a revolutionary spiral that allows for ultra-fine rate adjustments. A totally new Si14 balance spring allows the Swiss watchmaker to achieve certified precision of only 0/+2 seconds a day. Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9920 powers the watch – the first movement in the world to include the patent-pending Spirate System.

Inside the 44.25-mm stainless steel case is a honeycomb pattern black dial with a racing style minute-track. Framing the dial is a black ceramic bezel ring with a tachymeter scale in yellow ‘grand feu’ enamel. The bold yellow shade is also used on the gradient chronograph hand, and yellow and black striped small seconds hand at 9 o’clock. A 60 minute/12 hour recorder is directly opposite at 3 o’clock, and there’s a date window at 6 o’clock in which the ’10’ appears in the Speedmaster logo font. The black arrowhead indexes are filled with yellow Super-LumiNova, which emits a yellow glow. This same yellow is used for the Speedmaster and Super Racing wording on the dial. The watch is delivered on a stainless steel bracelet with an addition black/yellow recycled nylon NATO strap, inside a black honeycomb pattern Speedmaster watch box with yellow stitching.
