Zenith’s Defy Revival A3691 is a faithful reproduction of early Defy models from the late 1960s and early ‘70s. Using the original production plans as a starting point, the new A3691 brings back design elements that continue to inspire the Defy collection. This includes an octagonal case topped by a fourteen-sided bezel, rhodium-plated square hour markers with horizontal grooves, and a deep red dial with a gradient finish that darkens towards the edges. The rhodium-plated hour, minute and second hands are all coated with SuperLuminova SLN C1 for excellent visibility in low light conditions. The in-house ELITE 670 automatic movement can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back. As a finishing touch, the 37-mm steel case is fitted to a distinctive steel ladder bracelet crafted in Switzerland by Gay Frères.
