adidas launches its new SS23 Melbourne Tennis Collection just in time for the first grand slam of the season. Felix Auger Aliassime, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev and the rest of the adidas Tennis team will compete in a range of mix and match pieces designed to perform in Australia’s summer heat. Inspired by flora and fauna, the prominent colors are clear pink, black and white – all visible in the collection’s signature photo print pattern. Select pieces are cut from a contrast-color layered mesh that creates a moiré effect when in motion and helps to ‘mask the player’s movements and positioning on court.’ As an added bonus, the apparel is made with a series of recycled materials and at least 70% recycled content.
