TAG Heuer kicks off the 2023 lunar new year celebrations with the Carrera Chronograph Year of the Rabbit. Limited to 500 pieces, the 44-mm steel watch features red, black and gold elements infused with symbolism. In the Chinese zodiac the rabbit sign represents prudence, skill and wit, while the color red has represented joy and luck since ancient times. The watch’s black dial, decorated with printed lines representing rabbit fur, sports 18K rose gold plated indexes and hands with red lacquer accents. The chronograph and seconds hands are also rose gold plated. The in-house Calibre Heuer 02 movement powering the watch is visible through the sapphire glass case back – customized with a printed red rabbit for good luck.
