Bell & Ross and the French Acrobatic Patrol launched an official partnership in 2021 with the introduction of the BR 03-94 Patrouille de France. For their second release Bell & Ross worked closely with the PAF pilots to design a BR 03 watch built to perform under extreme conditions. When the gap between jet fighters maneuvering at speeds of 300 to 800 km/h is only two or three meters, and sequences are choreographed in fractions of time, there is no room for error. To ensure clarity, the new BR 03 Type A Patrouille de France is equipped with a dual analogue and digital display. The hours and minutes are displayed with conventional hands, while the seconds are displayed on a digital screen. All controlled by the BR-CAL.103 quartz movement. Additional functions include: 1/100th of a second chronograph with intermediate and additional time, countdown, alarm, date and dual time zone. The functions are selected by pressing the crown, with the widow at the top of the dial displaying the abbreviation of the chosen function. The second window, at the bottom of the dial, digitally displays the measurement. A high drain battery provides 30 months of battery life. Dressed in the colors of the Patrouille de France, the watch has a 42-mm stainless steel case, blue rubber strap and a co-branded blue dial with Super LumiNova-filled hands and indices.
