This collaboration brings the Brooklyn-born sneaker label full circle, GREATS started in the back of a Steven Alan optical store eight years ago. The collection includes two exclusive versions of the best-selling Royale court sneaker ($189.00) made from khaki or navy apple leather – a bio-based material upcycled from food waste. If mules are more your thing, there are two styles on offer. Available in dark brown or navy, the Mercer ($169.00) has a tumbled leather upper, premium leather lining and textured rubber soles. While the Stanton ($129.00) mule offers the comfort of a house slipper, with natural wool lining and footbeds paired with double faced wool uppers, set on street-ready stamped rubber soles. All the shoes feature supportive cork liners and outsoles made from recycled coffee grounds.
