After the success of last years first edition, Finisterre and Timex just reissued the Tide Watch in a new ‘stormy’ black/grey colorway. Finisterre worked with Timex for two years to get the first edition right, creating an affordable watch durable enough for the open ocean with an adjustable tide tracking function. Standing out against the black dial, a central blue hand tracks the movement of local tides. Simply set the tracking function to the tide times and you’ll know at a glance the best time to go surfing, sailing or swimming in the ocean. The co-branded dial also features a magnified date window at 6 o’clock, a small seconds dial just above 3 o’clock and Super Lumi-Nova filled hands and markers. Waterproof to 200m, the 41-mm stainless steel case is engraved with TIME AND TIDE WAIT FOR NONE on the back. Each watch comes on a black & grey nylon strap woven from reclaimed ocean plastic.
