Adidas collaborated with Japanese label and wander to create a new Terrex capsule ready to ‘take hikers from city center to mountain top (and back again) in style.’ Know for their elevated approach to designing outdoor performance apparel, and wander was launched in 2011 by Issey Miyake alums Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori. The 8-piece capsule includes down and fleece jackets, a relaxed fit hoodie, hiking pants, wool hiking socks, a quilted bucket hat and a lightweight backpack, all decorated with custom graphics and reflective detailing. The cornerstone of the collection is a fresh take on Adidas’ lightweight hiker, the and wander Terrex Free Hiker 2 ($250.00). Made with Parley Ocean Plastic, the soft, supportive upper hugs the foot and the BOOST midsole returns energy with every step. An internal frame and heel support add stability, while the Continental Rubber outsole maintains traction on rocky terrain and uneven ground. Available November 1, 2022.
