Watch Porn: Audemars Piguet Launching First Ever 41MM Royal Oak Chrono In Black Ceramic

Audemars Piguet just released the first ever 41-mm Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph crafted in black ceramic. Part of the Royal Oak’s 50th anniversary celebrations, this new reference features a special ‘50-years’ oscillating weight. The black dial incorporates AP’s signature Grande Tapisserie pattern and three matching counters enhanced by fine pink gold threads. Additional pink gold highlights on the dial include the AP logo and luminescent Royal Oak hands and markers.

Audemars Piguet’s selfwinding Calibre 4401, equipped with a column wheel and flyback function, powers the watch. The flyback function allows the wearer to stop, reset and start the chronograph in one simple action. The column wheel works in collaboration with a vertical clutch system. When starting or stopping the chronograph, the hands respond accordingly without jumping. The movement’s decorative finishing – including Côtes de Genève, circular graining, polished chamfers and circular satin – is visible through the sapphire glass case back.
