One year after the introduction of the Diver X Skeleton Blue, Ulysse Nardin is launching a new version in black. Designed to withstand the pressure that exists at depths of 200 meters, the Diver X Skeleton Black is equipped with a domed sapphire glass and a unidirectional rotating bezel made with black Carbonium. Among the most durable engineered materials, Carbonium is made from the same fibers used to manufacture the fuselage and wings of aircraft. Because its produced using scraps, it has a 40% lower environmental impact than other carbon materials.
The 44-mm titanium case, sandblasted on the sides with satin lugs, has been coated in black DLC. On the dial, the hands and indexes are coated with white or yellow tinted Super-LumiNova. Yellow details also appear on the hour markers and the internal lines of Ulysse Nardin’s signature X. The watch comes with both a yellow rubber strap – that amplifies the dial accents – and a black fabric R-strap made of upcycled fishing nets. Limited to 175 pieces.
