Blancpain introduced the Bathyscaphe in 1956 as a serious diver’s watch rightsized for everyday wear. Measuring 43 mm in diameter and water-resistant to 300 meters, the latest Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet models maintain the balance between everyday utility and performance. Available in satin-brushed titanium or satin-brushed red gold, the watches feature day of the week, month and date indications, along with a moon phase function in a large window at 6 o’clock.
The grade 23 titanium model has a sunburst anthracite dial enhanced by gold hour-markers, rhodium-plated hands and a grey moon. The matching satin-brushed ceramic bezel has a graduated Liquidmetal scale and a contemporary, matte effect finish. The red gold model ($31,600.00) is paired with a blue-gradient sunburst dial designed to catch the light. Framed by a rotating bezel with a blue ceramic inlay featuring a gold time scale, the dial’s gold hour-markers, hands and moon match the 18K red gold case and exhibition case back.
The Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet titanium is available on a matching bracelet, NATO or sailcloth strap. The red gold model is available on a blue sailcloth or NATO strap. The blue sailcloth option comes with a pin buckle or a folding clasp. For retail locations, pricing and availability go to blancpain.com
