TAG Heuer’s new Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is built for saturation diving. The combination of a 45-mm grade 5 titanium case, helium escape valve, and crown protection bridge ensures stability and performance to 1000m depths. To improve visibility at such depths, the Superdiver’s black dial has large hands and markers filled with the highest grade of Super-LumiNova – SLN Grade X1. Utilizing the extra luminosity, the arrow shaped hour indicator is larger than the hour hand on the classic Aquaracer Pro 300. The minute and second hands – the most useful hands for diving purposes – are orange with lume inserts. Recognized as the color of maritime safety, orange also accents the ceramic bezel. An orange color specifically developed for TAG Heuer highlights the first quarter of the bezel, the portion used for timing decompression stops – a key technical detail used extensively during deep-water dives. TAG’s brand new calibre TH30-00 powers the diver. The COSC certified Swiss-made movement produces an impressive 70-hours power reserve.
