Located inside the brands Seattle Flagship, Filson Workshop designs limited-edition products using overstock, short-run and decommissioned materials. For their latest drop Filson’s restoration experts created 50 tote bags using deadstock fabric from Cone Denim Mills’ iconic White Oak factory in Greensboro, North Carolina. The heavy-duty 14.5-oz. denim is lined with sturdy organic cotton canvas for extra body and strength. The straps are built with 2” cotton webbing, folded and stitched at the handles for additional comfort when carrying heavy loads. A double layer of fabric reinforces the base and adds structure. Each tote is finished with solid brass hardware and individually numbered on a custom patch made with harness leather from one of North America’s oldest tanneries, Wickett & Craig.
