Moritz Grossmann’s New Universalzeit Model Displays Six Time Zones In A Single Glance

Moritz Grossmann’s new Universalzeit model makes it possible to see the current time in several cities across the world in a single glace. Designed in the shape of a world map with salmon colored continents on top of latitude and longitude lines, the blue dial has time windows precisely aligned with the coordinates of six cities. Daylight-saving time is not observed in these cities, so the watch can indicate time year round without adjustments. The hour in the each city is displayed from 0 to 24 inside the windows. The main time is displayed by lance-shaped hour and minute hands, while the minute and second hands track the corresponding increments for all time zones. Grossmann’s in-house calibre 100.7 manual movement sits inside the 44.5 mm stainless steel case and is fully visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
