Todd Snyder is gearing up to launch a new collaboration with J. Press, the granddaddy of Ivy League style. Founded by Jacobi Press in 1902 on Yale University’s campus in New Haven, Connecticut, J. Press pioneered several menswear classics including the sack suit, boxy chino and Shaggy Dog sweater – a favorite of both JFK and Cary Grant. Snyder updated these old-school preppy staples with modern proportions. Dubbed Retake Ivy (a reference to the seminal 1965 photo book Take Ivy), the collection includes tailored separates, button-downs, duffel coats, wool ruby shirts, knit ties, Shetland sweaters, polo coats and school scarfs.
