Blancpain’s latest Air Command model offers two distinct timing modes: a chronograph with flyback function and a countdown bezel. Inspired by the rare and sought-after mid-1950s Air Command pilot’s watch, the new chronograph combines vintage style with modern Swiss engineering. The flyback function allows the user to reset the timing operation and start a new one with the chronograph running, while the countdown bezel indicates the time remaining until the destination is reached. Additional functions include a tachymeter scale indicating ground speeds, a 30-minute counter with three elongated markers tracking three-minute increments and a 12-hour counter. The 42.5-mm case comes in titanium or red gold with a transparent case back offers a view of the self-winding F388B movement.
