Todd Snyder regularly reimagines New Balance silhouettes using a variety of themes, from color blocking and Palm Spring sunsets to Dark n’ Stormy cocktails. For his latest collaboration the New York City-based designer took inspiration from autumn days on Long Island’s East End. The New Balance + Todd Snyder 57/40 ‘Stony Beach’ is his first-ever interpretation of the NB 57/40, itself a modern interpretation of the classic NB 574. Using a combination of Vachetta and ivory leather with three types of suede, Snyder evokes the tones and textures of the beaches on Long Islands eastern shore. Limited to 750 pairs.
