Japanese label Porter is launching a second interpretation of Levi’s Type II Trucker Jacket cut from Yoshida & Co’s proprietary Tanker fabric – a high-density nylon. Where last fall’s trucker had a detachable nylon pouch in place of the right chest pocket, the Fall ’21 version features a removable Porter mini wallet as the right pocket. The use of nylon fabric, available colors – blue and gray – and mil-spec rescue orange lining are all direct references to the MA-1 Flight Jacket. True to the original 50s trucker style, this jacket has a pleat detail on either side of the front placket, button cuffs, and adjustable waist tabs.
