From muddy trails to city streets, the adidas Y-3 Terrex Swift R3 GTX is ready for it all. The hybrid sneaker/hiking boot has a waterproof Gore-Tex lining and membrane, as well as a Continental rubber sole which offers traction in both wet and dry conditions. A neoprene gusset under the multi-purpose lace and zip closure provides additional protection from the elements. Launching October 14, the Y-3 Terrex is available in Vintage White/Black/Bold Orange and Black/Bold Orange.
The shoes are part of adidas’ first Y-3 Terrex Capsule Collection, which includes the Y-3 Rugged GTX Jacket and Y-3 Melton GTX Down Parka. Made for life outdoors, the jacket is cut from a recycled nylon Gore-Tex fabric that offers protection from wind and rain. The parka features a loosely fitted Gore-Tex Melton wool, nylon, and goose down-filled shell. Boasting subtly placed Y-3, Terrex and Gore-Tex silicone badges, both jackets transform when the side pockets are unzipped, revealing pocket bags that attach to webbing tape. The outerwear pieces will be available in November.
