Watch Porn: Omega’s Latest Speedmaster Inspired By Classic 40’s Chronographs

Omega’s new Speedmaster Chronoscope collection takes its inspiration form vintage chronographs. The dials are embellished with a detailed ‘snail’ design featured on Omega chronographs from the 1940’s. The eras influence can also be seen in the dials leaf-shaped hands and spiral track patter running beneath the Arabic numerals. Each dial is printed with three timing scales: a tachymeter that measures speed based on distance, a telemeter for measuring distance based on the speed of sound, and a pulsometer to measure a heartbeat. Available in six stainless steel variations ($8,450-$8,650) or a single Bronze Gold model ($14,100), the 43-mm case holds a manual-winding Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908 movement, visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
