Breitling is now the Official Luxury Watch of IRONMAN. The recently announced sponsorship deal is part of a wider, long-term partnership between the Swiss watchmaker and the endurance race competition. To celebrate the collaboration Breitling is expanding the IRONMAN range with a new series of luxury ‘athleisure’ watches. First up, two special versions of the Endurance Pro IRONMAN – a bold red retail model for race fans everywhere and a black and gold Finisher edition available exclusively through IRONMAN channels for athletes who’ve completed an event. Designed for every stage of the race, both watches are water-resistant, lightweight and durable, thanks in large part to the 44-mm Breitlight case made with a composite material 3 times lighter than titanium and highly resistant to scratches and corrosion. To keep racers on pace and on track, the rotating bezel has engraved compass points and all the hands, markers and sub-dial counters are coated with Super-LumiNova®, making them legible even in low light conditions. The Breitling Caliber 82 Thermocompensated SuperQuartz™ movement powers the watch.
