adidas overhauls the popular UltraBOOST running shoe with a bold new design that incorporates the latest in performance technology. The exaggerated heel curve on the new UltraBOOT 21 provides runners with improved energy return and comfort thanks to adidas’ proprietary midsole BOOST tech. This works alongside the shoe’s redesigned torsion system. The new adidas LEP (‘Linear Energy Push’) provides a 15% increase in forefoot bending stiffness for a more responsive stride. Best of all, 75% of the textile used to make the UltraBOOST 21 is Primeblue – a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic.
