Hublot drew on the experience gained during previous collaborations with Berluti to create the innovative Big Bang Unico Berluti Cold Brown. Working hand in hand with Berluti’s creative director Kris Van Assche, Hublot developed a process to freeze the “organic elements” of the Paris-based labels signature Venezia leather, creating the unique Cold Brown patina. For the first time, Hublot applied the leather to the Big Bang Unico’s bezel using an entirely new process. The leather used on the dial includes another first, each piece is laser cut and encapsulated between two pieces of sapphire glass to allow a full view of the Unico movements gears. Inside the 45mm black ceramic case, the limited-edition timepiece runs on the HUB1242 UNICO Manufacture Self-winding Chronograph Flyback Movement.
