Blancpain teamed up with Hodinkee to launch a new Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC watch inspired by the military origins and spartan design of the first MIL-SPEC model, introduced in 1957-58. The 40.3mm steel case features a unidirectional rotating bezel with discreet notching and a Super-LumiNova enhanced graduated scale protected by a rounded sapphire insert. On the dial, the circular moisture indicator at 6 o’clock and luminescent hands and hour-markers standout against the matte black finish. The elemental design emphasizes the watches vintage inspiration.
