Designed to fit like a jacket with the comfort of a cardigan, the knitted Raftery Coat was inspired by the famed 19th century nomadic poet Antoine Ó Raifteiri, aka Raftery. The blind Irish bard’s clothes were often remarked upon, particularly his long frieze coat – the Cóta Raiftearaí. With that inspiration in mind, this coat is constructed from a soft Donegal wool and cashmere blend in an earthy shade of red with amber, white and blue speckles. Left unlined, the patch pockets and natural drape keep it feeling relaxed.
